A big crowd converged on Panacea and Woolley Park on Saturday for the annual Oyster & Brewfest, a fundraiser for Waterfronts Panacea that helps pay for local projects like activities for local kids.
One local official, at the entrance to the park to collect signatures for petitions, said he had been there for nearly two hours and seen thousands of people pass by – but only recognized a handful from Wakulla. ‘That’s good,’ the official said, noting that out-of-town visitors were coming to spend their money.
