The Coastal Optimist Club would like to thank our fifteen bakers and the many people in our community for their generous donations and support for our MEN BAKE CAKES FOR KIDS Facebook Auction on April 11-12. Our club raised over $8,000 for the kids of Wakulla County. As a result of your efforts, we can continue to fund our four scholarships and many other projects.
Thank you to all our bakers: Ed Brimner, Josh Brown, Eddie Hand, Wrenn Harvey, Greg James (who was also our Mystery Baker), Mike Kemp, Josh Lawhon, Robert Manning, Jared Miller, Kinsey Miller, Joe Morgan, Rick Myhre, Fred Nichols, Matt Payne and Chris Russell. Thank you to all those in the community who supported our bakers by purchasing cakes and making donations!
As a “Friend of Youth,” we have focused all our efforts on helping kids since 1971.
