This past weekend members of Flotilla 12 joined the U.S. Coast Guard at Doak Campbell Stadium as part of the FSU Military Appreciation Game. Thank you to Linda Olson for the information and images!
In attendance were Tim Ashley, Phil Hill, Steve Hults, Linda Olson and Wade Olson. Also present were three recruiters from Panama City: Christian, Mike and Josh, and Active Duty who brought a boat for display. Throughout the day, active duty and auxiliarists interacted with game attendees, discussed safe boating and benefits of the Coast Guard.
Public affairs events such as this are a great way for the active duty and auxiliary to interact with community members.
As Sherrie says, safe boating is no accident!
