On Saturday, Palaver Tree Theater hosted a ‘Family Reunion’ to celebrate the upcoming May 20th Florida Emancipation Day.

Food was prepared by the Buckhorn Masons and volunteers, and included fried chicken, 85 pounds of fried mullet, lima beans, barbecued pigs feet, coleslaw, hoecakes, and sweets for dessert. Activities included a May Pole, below.
