Special to The Sun

Congratulations to the Cougars โ€“ Undefeated Super Bowl Champions of Wakulla County!
The Cougars completed a perfect 11โ€“0 season by dominating the Mountaineers 36โ€“0 in the Championship Game!

Powered by a high-octane offense that scored 453 total points and a stingy defense that allowed only 12 points all season, this team proved to be something truly special. Their success is a reflection of hard work, discipline, and determination from start to finish.
โ€œThis is now back-to-back Super Bowl wins for the Cougars, which comes with a lot of hard work and dedication,โ€ said Head Coach Derrick Franklin.
Congratulations to our outstanding players:
Vanessa Dykes, Sean Garner, Easton Manning, Cody Ryan, Thomas Keen, Josijah Lighter, Gabriel Alanis, Terry Harvey Jr., Melvin Tointigh, Kasen Henderson, Deโ€™sean Monroe, Jacobi Marine, Cornelius Williams, Clifford Dykes, Fisher Harless, David Clinton, Brayden Dyal, Blake Whitfield, Rhyder Pace, Tyrone Harris, Kenneth Robinson, and Will Rummel.
And a huge thank-you to our coaches: Mike Paynter, Jessie Davis, and Derrick Franklin.
Go Cougars!
