On Oct. 3rd Wakulla High School Theatre took 33 students to Bay High School in Panama City for this yearโs District One Thespian Competition. On Friday, 10 schools across the panhandle competed with one-act plays with WHS performing Annie the Musical.

The Wakulla County Sheriffโs Office invited citizens to join in a search party on Friday morning to look for Ellen Ashdown, 80, who had been missing for two days.
More than 60 citizens turned up to help and within hours, Ashdown was found in the woods.

There were two crashes last Tuesday, Oct. 7, hours apart,that resulted in critical injuries to people.
The first crash was around 1:25 p.m. near Hudson Park on U.S. Highway 319 when a pedestrian walking along the highway reportedly stepped out in front of a box truck and was hit.

Itโs been 11 years since Jody Kilgoreโs body was found stabbed to death in his driveway โ Oct. 6, 2014. There still has been no arrest in his murder.
