• Rotary Club of Wakulla meets at TCC Wakulla at 8:30 a.m.

• The VFW Auxiliary Bingo Night will be held at 7 p.m. at 475 Arran Road in Crawfordville. There will be concessions and raffles.

• Animal Tales at the Wakulla Public Library with naturalists presenting creepy critters to illustrate the role of less desirable critters at 7 p.m.

Friday, October 28

• The Wakulla War Eagles host the Suwannee Bulldogs at J.D. Jones Stadium for district championship. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

• 2nd Annual Halloween Rock n Roll Bonfire at the Palaver Tree Theater starting at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 per person. There will be live music, and prize for best costume.

Ducks Unlimited plan oyster roast

Wakulla Ducks Unlimited is planning a Fire & Ice Bash Oyster Roast on Friday, Oct. 28th, at 6 p.m. at the Skybox. Tickets are $100 and available at Wakulla-Fire-Ice-Bash-And-Oyster-Roast.

• Storywalk at Azalea Park from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This event is free to attend and there will be a storybook walk and candy being passed out around the parks and food trucks will be present.

• The dynamic duo of Sonny & Linda Morris with the Country Gold Band will return to the Sopchoppy Opry Saturday, Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. in historic Sopchoppy School Auditorium. • The Wakulla Respite Program will be available for anyone with memory impairment at no cost from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lake Ellen Baptist Church.

• Hallelujah Festival at Mount Olive
Mount Olive Primitive Baptist Church #2 Youth Department will hold a Hallelujah Festival on Monday, Oct. 31 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
There will be food, games and prizes for the whole family.
The church is located at 8 Spring Creek Hwy. in Crawfordville. Pastor is Samuel Hayes.

• Sopchoppy Community Dinner is held every week at the Towles House at 6:30 p.m.

Wednesday, November 2

• A Line Dance class will be held at 1 p.m. at the Wakulla Senior Center.

• Participate in Veterans Day Parade on Nov. 5

The parade will be held on Nov. 5 beginning at 10 a.m. The parade lineup will be at 9 a.m. at Hudson Park.



• Gospel at Mount Beasor on Saturday, Nov. 5
Pastor Bruce Taylor and the congregation at Mount Beasor Baptist Church in Sopchoppy extend a warm invitation to all for an evening of Gospel music and fellowship on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 6 p.m.
Featured singers will be the Shepherds, one of the most enduring and loved musical families in Gospel music today. Traditional hymns and songs written and recorded by the group will be performed including the popular hit “There’s a Miracle In The Making” along with an inspiring message.
