Bicyclist killed on Spring Creek Hwy.
Staff ReportA 38-year-old bicyclist was hit and killed on Spring Creek Highway on Saturday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The bicyclist, a Crawfordville man, was struck by a car around 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of Brown-Donaldson Road, according to the FHP report.
The driver of the sedan that struck the bicyclist, a 34-year-old Tallahassee man, said he didn’t see the bicyclist in the dark – the bicycle had neither lights nor reflectors, and there are no street lights in the area, according to FHP.
Passengers in the car included a 32-year-old woman and three children, none of whom were injured.
