On December 10th, Sopchoppy Opry held is 23rd Annual Christmas Special. There were many fans in attendance at the sold-out show, some of whom came all the way from Nome, Alaska to watch. A special honor was given to Lt. Tom Kilbourn during the intermission to celebrate his retirement and 12 years of service to the Opry. Lt. Kilbourn has worked in law enforcement for the past 45 years and has always been committed to the betterment of his community.

Sopchoppy Opry managers Jesse Quigg and his sister-in-law, Callie Quigg, hosted The Purvis Brothers and Encore II Band. The band played country and Christmas that everyone enjoyed. The next performance will be on Jan. 28, 2023, at 7 p.m. where they will host the South Bound Band.
