3 STUDENTS COMPETE AS FUTURE CHEFS ON THURSDAY


The competitors: Reagan Lawhon of Medart won 3rd place and crowd favorite with her tomato pie; Aaralyn Smith of Crawfordville won with her ranch cream corn; and Isabelle Scott of Shadeville won 2nd place with her cauliflower mash. A fourth competitior, Chloe Allen of Riversink, missed due to illness.


On Thursday, March 16, Sodexo GM Marina Mudryy gives the three competitors the basic instructions before they start cooking in the War Eagle Cafe kitchen. Sodexo is the food service company that feeds students at Wakulla County Public Schools. Mudryy said 40 recipes were submitted to get to the four that were chosen.
