This report represents some events the FWC handled April 19 to 25 in the Northwest Region. (No cases were reported in Wakulla County)
JACKSON COUNTY
- Officer E. Meade received information about a deer illegally killed a year ago. Officer Meade conducted an interview with a subject who admitted to killing an antlered deer prior to hunting season. Officer Meade charged the subject with taking deer during the closed season.
GADSDEN COUNTY
- Officers Keels and Hildebrand and field trainee B. Johnson II conducted a field day for students at the Greensboro Elementary School where they displayed an alligator and FWC patrol vessel to approximately 300 students and teachers.
