This report is for activity June 28-July 4:
FRIDAY, JUNE 28
- Lydia Allegri reported fraudulent activity on her Amazon account. Allegri resides in Kansas, but the suspect resides in Wakulla County. Allegri stated the suspect left his name and address during the purchase. The suspect purchased a two-way radio set totaling $300. This case has been sent to detectives for further investigation. Lt. Gibby Gibson investigated.
- Deputy Payton Surrette responded to Graham Trail and made contact with James Nichols in reference to a stolen motorcycle, described as a 2005 Suzuki DRZ400. Nichols was able to provide a possible suspect in this case. The motorcycle was entered into NCIC/FCIC as stolen. This case has been sent to detectives for further investigation.
- Deputy Anthony Paul conducted a traffic stop on a motorcycle being operated by Ashly Burke for faulty rear taillights. It was determined Burke did not have a motorcycle endorsement and the tag attached was unassigned. Burke was arrested and transported to the jail without incident.
- Deputy Heather Will observed a vehicle being operated by Raymond Graves and conducted a traffic stop for failure to maintain. Upon contact with Graves, a DUI investigation was initiated. Graves was placed under arrest for DUI.
SATURDAY, JUNE 28
- Deputy Don Newsome responded to Quality Towing in reference to a possible fraudulent bill of sale. During the investigation, Jordan Chason admitted post-Miranda that he had signed the bill of sale for the original seller of a vehicle and had it notarized by a family friend in order to get his friend’s vehicle from the tow company. Chason was placed under arrest and transported to jail.
SUNDAY, JUNE 30
- Deputy Nick Gray responded to Walmart and made contact with the Asset Protection Manager, who stated an unknown male attempted to obtain a refund using a fraudulent receipt. Once the unknown subject was denied the refund, he exited Walmart. This case has been sent to detectives for further investigation.
- Deputy Heather Will responded to Otter Creek Road and made contact with Raymond Polous, who stated an unknown suspect pried his back glass open on his SUV and stole fishing equipment. WCSO Crime Scene responded and processed the vehicle for evidence. This case has been sent to detectives for further investigation.
MONDAY, JULY 1
- Deputy Ernesto Trujillo responded to Fulford Street in reference to a fraud complaint. Upon arrival Deputy Trujillo made contact with Starla Pritchard, who said someone made and unauthorized charge on her credit account. Starla advised the suspect also changed her personal information on the account. Starla stated $924 has already been taken out of her account. This case has been sent to detectives for further investigation.
THURSDAY, JULY 4
- Deputies responded to an address on Linzy Store Road in reference to a possible disturbance. The subjects in question Jodie Atkins and Dustin Chambley had left on foot. During the investigation it was learned Chambley had active warrants out of Leon County. He was located on East Ivan Road and taken into custody. During a search, Chambley had meth and drug paraphernalia in his possession. Both Chambley and Atkins gave conflicting statements in reference to the battery, and no arrest was made. Chambley was transported to the jail facility without incident.
