Former opponent supports Sparkman
Editor, The Sun:
I ran against Donnie Sparkman in 2012,… I’m pulling for him now.
If Brimner had spent less time politicking and more time on the job the citizenry entrusted to him, we would not have had the problems from that office. Donnie knows what to do.

Sheriff candidate Army Reyes is serious
Editor, The Sun:
I could kick myself for missing the two sheriff candidates’ public interview by The Wakulla Sun, which staged it. I was glad to hear that it got a bit testy. It needed to be that way.
I just had Sheriff candidate Army Reyes at my home. I was very impressed with what he had to say & with the man in general. He takes life seriously. This gave me the opportunity to tell our potential Sheriff a lot of what I wanted to say. He was more than impressed with what I had to say and show him.
As many of you know, we have had a lot of trouble at the public airport over the years. I wanted to ask Sheriff Miller why he never bothered to answer any of the three emails sent to him on June 6th., June 10th., and a group email to him, all five commissioners and administrator David Edwards on June 20th, 2017.
I got no return calls or emails from anyone mentioned above. My five commission meeting speeches were met with “Your three minutes are up, Mr. Catalina” and nothing else.
