Endorsing John Quinton

I am writing in support of John Quinton, candidate for Wakulla County Commission District 2. I first met John at a FarmShare pickup, where he was getting food for his two church’s food pantries (pre-COVID). I learned that he was also instrumental at setting up weekly community dinners in Sopchoppy for anyone who could attend. I ran into John again this year at a Back to School supply distribution, and found him as a volunteer to be very respectful and engaging with all those he interacted with. In private conversations, he stated his opinion but also listened to those of others. When I learned of John’s candidacy for County Commission, I wanted to know more. He is extremely concerned about Wakulla County - both the people and the environment. He has worked to educate himself on options available to make sure growth in our beloved county is thoughtful and well-planned. I believe he is open to new information as it comes forward, but that he will always put the needs of Wakulla County and its residents first. I believe it is time for our County Commission to not be beholden to developers or other special interests. I urge you to vote John Quinton for Wakulla County Commission on November 8th.
