Thursday, November 10

• The VFW Auxiliary Bingo Night will be held at 7 p.m. at 475 Arran Road in Crawfordville. There will be concessions and raffles.

• The Rotary Club of Wakulla County will meet at TCC Wakulla at 8:30 a.m. Speaker will be Travis Coker of North Florida Medical Center.

• The Wakulla County Tourist Development Council public meeting held at the Ochlocknee River State Park at 9 a.m.

• The St. Marks City Commission meeting will be held at St. Marks City Hall at 6 p.m.

• The Sopchoppy Depot Committee meeting will be held at the Depot, 34 Railroad Avenue at 4:30 p.m.

Friday, November 11

• VETERANS DAY – Banks, schools and government offices will be closed.

• The Wakulla War Eagles football team will travel to Pensacola for first-round playoff game against Pensacola Catholic. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CST.

Saturday, November 12

• Intro to Tai Chi held at the Community Center from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. All ability levels are welcome and wear comfortable clothing. Any questions can be directed to Rich or Terri Bushman at 850-228-9214.

• The Sopchoppy oyster and mullet fest will be held at Sopchoppy Depot Park from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fundraiser mullet fish fry, local oysters, food vendors, best mullet contest, mullet toss, music all day, historic displays, touch tanks, kids activities, vendors of homemade and home-grown treasures, beer garden and more.

Sunday, November 13

• Homecoming at Panacea Full Gospel Nov. 13
Come join us for our Homecoming Revival at Panacea Full Gospel Assembly from Wednesday, Nov. 9 through Friday, Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. nightly featuring Brother Lindon Frost.
On Saturday, Nov. 12, a Gospel sing will be held featuring Reborn from Tennessee at 7 p.m.
Homecoming Service will be held Sunday, Nov. 13 at 11 a.m. with Brother Don Anderson.
Lunch following and singing after.
The church is located at 8 Taylor St. in Panacea.

Monday, November 14

• The planning commission meets in the commission chambers at 6 p.m.

• The Sopchoppy City Commission meets at city hall at 6:30 p.m.

• The Wakulla Respite Program will be available for anyone with memory impairment at no cost from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lake Ellen Baptist Church.

• The Alzheimers Support Group meets at Lake Ellen Baptist Church from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

• The Wakulla County Library Advisory Board meets at 10 a.m. at the Wakulla County Public Library.

Tuesday, November 15

• Sopchoppy Community Dinner is held every week at the Towles House at 6:30 p.m.

• The Wakulla County One Cent Sales Tax Committee public meeting will be held in the Board of County Commissioners Administration Conference Room 3093 at 2 p.m.

• The county commission will hold a special public hearing , serving as the Board of Adjustment at the commission chambers at 10 a.m.

• The Sarracenia Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society will hold their monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the Wakulla County Public Library. Forester Emily Martin will speak on the Forest Service’s Pine Tree production program. A zoom link for the presentation will also be available, you can request it at Sarracenia.nps@gmail.com.

Wednesday, November 16
