Here’s a Top 10 list of the top vote-getters in our survey

It’s time for The Wakulla Sun’s annual Readers Choice awards.
While we started this about 15 years ago when we were the staff of the other paper, this is our first edition of The Wakulla Sun Readers’ Choice Awards.
We had thousands of votes cast online for readers’ favorites in the various categories. And, as usual, we had several hundred more readers who used paper ballots to cast their votes.
All in all, a great turnout – and we appreciate everyone who participated.

This year’s top vote getter – with the most overall number of votes – was Susan Jones in the category of Individual Realtor.
No. 2 was Blue Water Realty under the category of Real Estate Company and No. 3 was Blue Water Realty for Rental Company.
The No. 4 vote-getter was Publix Grocery.
No. 5 was Gene Cutchin Construction under Builder.
No. 6 was Gulf Coast Lumber.
No. 7 was McIver’s Flooring.
No. 8 was My Way Seafood.
No. 9 was Body Tek.
And a tie at No. 10 between Prime Meridian Bank and Mike’s Paint & Body.

In the restaurant category,  it was interesting to note that Myra Jean’s and Lindy’s received the most nominations in the overall number of categories; while Angelo’s and Seineyard Wildwood led in the number of winning categories.
