Shelby Vause – 4th Grader, Riversink Elementary

Achievements/Reason for Nomination: Shelby Vause is a talented and dedicated student at Riversink Elementary School. She is a student of academic excellence with a GPA of 4.0. Shelby says that her favorite thing about Riversink is the awesome teachers. While excelling in all classes, reading is her favorite. Her fondest memory was taking part in the school Fun Run. Shelby consistently exhibits kindness, empathy, and respect. Outside of school, her favorite activity is spending time with her little sister Taylor. Shelby beams when talking about her family. Shelby enjoys baking and playing recreational soccer in her free time. Riversink is a better school because of students like Shelby, who demonstrate exceptional character, and we are proud to nominate her.
