By ETHEL SKIPPER

Some days ago, I was on an interview. The first question I was asked was, “Tell us about yourself.” I didn’t know where to begin.
I am Ethel Mae Rosier Skipper. I live in Sopchoppy and have been here all my life. I have traveled halfway around the world. I have been married over 70 years and my family make life worth living.
Then I was asked about Sopchoppy. Sopchoppy means dark water. It is the most beautiful river in the land. You have have to live here to know all the wonderful things about Sopchoppy. On each Tuesday night of the week there is a community dinner at 6:30, free to the public. It is a good time to fellowship with old friends and meet new people.

We wish a happy birthday to Benard Ross on Feb. 14; Timothy Beard on Feb. 14; Kellen Johnson on Feb. 17; Ella Andrews on Feb. 17; Patrick Rosier on Feb. 21; and Dionte Gavin on Feb. 22.

Let us keep in our prayers Isaiah Hines Sr. He has been in the hospital. Betty Green, Mother Mila Hills, Alberta Hines and all the sick and and shut-in, those in the hospital, nursing home, prison, the homeless, and all in need of prayer. Let us pray for each other.
