In the old days, one would watch a person you wanted to be like. Today, there are so many examples. I want to talk about showing thyself a pattern of good works.
As older men, you should make a difference. Talk the things which become sound teaching, be sober in mind and body, have faith, love and patience in all things. Teach young men to be sober-minded in all things.
A pattern of good works, sound speech, that cannot be condemned.

We had a good time in the Holy Convocation held in Blountstown. Mother Millicent Isom Bush was crowned queen for Women’s Day. On Sunday, Deaconess Loretta Davity was crowned Queen of the 2024 Northwest Florida Holy Convocation.

Wishing a happy birthday to Ezella Rosier on 9/3, Antionette Easter on 9/6, Sierra Beard on 9/12, Helyy Richardson on 9/10, Janie Andrew on 9/11, Ashley Murray 9/12, Leroy Wood and Shante Grimmett on 9/13, Crytal Green 9/19, Nathaniel Smith on 9/25. Be blessed and enjoy your special day.

Our prayers and concern goes out to all the sick and shut-in, to those in need of help in all ways, those in the hospital, nursing home, prison, homeless and all that need help from the Lord. Our prayers continue to go out to the students and families in the car accident. It is all right to pray for everyone, even those you don’t know – the Lord is the father of everyone.
