We are called to discipleship.
Jeremiah 32:27 states, Behold I am the Lord, the God of all flesh, is there anything too hard for me?
All believers are called by God to place their trust in Him. God has given His word and promises that we can put our faith and hope in Him.
Take time to reflect on some of the promises of God’s Word found in scripture. Read the New Testament. Having located some of those promises, thank God for them, read one or two of them, meditate. If you struggle to believe, ask the Lord to renew your faith in His promises.
Pray for your family loved ones who may be facing a challenging situation and encoourage them to trust the promises of God.
This past week, the family of my sister Alberta Rosier Hines had a home-going service for her on Friday night at Skipper Temple Church on Surf Road in Sopchoppy, where she was born and brought up. There was a viewing and fellowship service with family and friends, including sister Ruth Rosier Easter of Seattle, niece Antonette Easter of Las Vegas, Patrick Rosier of Virginia, the Rosier-Wood family from Greenville, S.C., and Florida, Georgia and locally. Alberta’s home-going was well-celebrated with over 300 singing and praising the Heavenly Father whom she loved. Our prayers for the family.
Our prayers and concern goes out to all the sick and shut-in, to those in need of help in all ways, those in the hospital, nursing home, prison, the homeless – and the family of Missionary Marilyn Lorraine Nelson. Let us pray for our schools’ safety and our children and all workers.
