What a AWESOME week in Sopchoppy!
Saturday morning my son had a football game at the Wakulla Rec Park. Then Saturday afternoon was BOOTS & BINGO. This event is put on by the Rotary Club of Wakulla. This event was absolutely awesome! Bingo, prizes, auctions and music. The food served was seafood. The shrimp were so good. This was a local star-studded event. Many important people and businesses. I even saw some Sopchoppy locals.
It is awesome to see so many people coming together. Imagine if we all worked together. We could all benefit. We could all grow. That is the Wakulla way…. We look out for one another.
I really enjoyed seeing so many friends. I love watching people enjoy themselves. That is a beautiful thing about my job. I get to make a memory with you. I made you smile at that moment. We are blessed. Let’s work together and make Wakulla stronger! We are Wakulla!
I went fishing this week. We put in at Rock Landing in Panacea. It was a beautiful day. I didn’t catch anything. I think all this rain has the fish not biting. I know we had that full moon too. But I didn’t see much activity at all.
Something was off but any day on the water is a good day. I enjoy the outdoors. I enjoy the boat ride, nature, clouds and blue skies. The beautiful water. It just soothes the soul. I feel closer to God on that water. We are very blessed to live in a beautiful place. Take time to enjoy these moments.

Y’all have made a small town boy’s dream come true. I’m not a rich man when it comes to money but my journey is a dream come true.
