SATURDAY, OCT. 5

  • Deputy Haddock investigated a theft of services at 148 New Light Church Road. Complainant stated Lisa Kelly was refusing to pay for cab services. Deputy Haddock submitted an affidavit to Wakulla County Court requesting an arrest warrant on Lisa Kelly.
  • Deputy Haddock investigated a retail theft at Walmart where subjects passed the last point of sale with unpaid merchandise valued at more than $100.

SUNDAY, OCT. 6

  • Deputy De Guzman investigated an animal bite on Whitlock Way where an Amazon driver delivering packages was bitten in the back of the thigh by a loose dog. An Animal Control Officer also responded to the scene.
  • Deputy Rivers met with a citizen on Charlie-R Lane who turned over a debit card they had found.
  • Deputy Rivers investigated a retail theft at Walmart where an asset protection officer reported a male leaving the store without paying for $772.51 worth of merchandise. The subject, later identified as Tremayne Rogers, fled on foot when he saw deputies approaching. After a short foot pursuit, Rogers was taken into custody and transported to Wakulla County Detention Facility. Rogers was also found to have an active arrest warrant out of Leon County Sheriff’s Office for petty theft.
  • Deputy Surrette arrested Robert Krueger on Jessica Star Road for the theft of a motor vehicle which had been stolen from the Burger King parking lot the preceding week. Deputy Surrette transported Krueger to the Wakulla County Detention Facility, and the vehicle was returned to its owner.
  • Deputies responded to a structure fire at 83 Rose Street in Sopchoppy. Upon arrival a shed was completely engulfed in flames. There were no injuries, and no one was inside the shed. Wakulla County Fire Rescue responded and extinguished the fire.
  • Deputy Godwin arrested Ahmin Dukes on arrest warrants for failure to appear and contempt of court on Terrace Lane.
  • Deputy Haddock arrested Robert Tuzenew on arrest warrants for probation violations on Palomino Road.

MONDAY, OCT. 7

  • Deputy Smith investigated a vehicle burglary on Floyd Gray Road. The complainant reported his handgun was missing from his vehicle.
  • Deputy Bennett met with a resident on Spur Trail who requested a report generated documenting reported roof damage from Hurricane Helene.
  • Deputy Williams investigated a theft on Dogwood Forest. The complainant reported a package stolen on Sept. 5th.
  • Deputy Dill investigated a fraud on Lance Lane. The complainant reported someone using her name and Social Security to file a FEMA claim.
  • Deputy Dill arrested Ryan Connell on a warrant for failure to appear. Connell had been located in Leon County and was subsequently transported to the Wakulla County Detention Facility.

TUESDAY, OCT. 8

  • Deputy Irvin met with a citizen who turned over a black Beretta handgun they found on the side of the road in the area of Bloxham Cutoff Road and Shell Point Road.
  • Deputy Williams investigated a residential burglary on Floyd Gray Road. Complainant reported clothing items and electronics stolen.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 9

  • Deputy Bennett met with a complainant on Hummingbird Lane who reported online threats by a person known to them.
  • Deputy Haddock met with a citizen who turned over a driver’s license they found at the Circle K next to Publix.

THURSDAY, OCT. 10

  • Deputy Rivers met with a complainant who reported the theft of property from her vehicle in excess of $2,500 by a person known to her while it was parked in the Walmart parking lot.
  • Deputy Rivers arrested Robert Keith for an arrest warrant for Violation of Probation – original charges of Grand Theft over $750/less than $5,000 dollars.
  • Deputy Rivers arrested Christian Godwin for an arrest warrant for Violation of Probation – originally two charges of possession of contraband at county detention facility, possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine), and possession of controlled substance (THC concentrate).
  • Deputy Munroe investigated a criminal mischief on Sand Pine Trail. The complainant reported his patio window being damaged.
  • Deputy Munroe arrested Devin Graves on an arrest warrant for Failure to Appear – original charge of criminal mischief. Graves was located in Leon County, and transported to the Wakulla County Detention Facility.
  • Deputy Gavin investigated a retail theft at the Dollar General, 3134 Crawfordville Hwy. Complainant reported four subjects leaving the store without paying for merchandise. Upon deputies arrival, two of the subjects fled on foot, leaving behind a gray Jeep that they arrived in. The other two suspects fled the area in a gold SUV. After a short search, deputies located and arrested Mack Outley and Shemar Fantroy. The gray Jeep that the suspects had arrived in was found to be a stolen vehicle out of Tallahassee. Investigation pending on the other two suspects that fled prior to deputies arrival.

FRIDAY, OCT. 11

  • Sergeant Paul arrested Clayton Burroughs on Old Bethel Road for driving while license suspended or revoked.
  • Deputy Rivers arrested Benjamin Millership for driving while license suspended/revoked, and fleeing and eluding on Coleman Road. Millership reportedly attempted to flee from deputies on a motorcycle.
  • Deputy Rivers arrested Alexis Starling at the Medart Kangaroo Convenience Store charging her with disorderly intoxication in a public place causing a disturbance.
  • Deputy Rivers arrested Thea Cruse on an arrest warrant for criminal mischief after she turned herself into the Wakulla County Detention Facility.
