Allison & Brianna Stephens – 11th graders at Wakulla High

Allison & Brianna Stephens

Principal: Michele Falk

Achievements/Reason for Nomination: Wakulla High School is twice as proud to announce twin sisters Allison and Brianna Stephens as our Student(s) of the Week. They are the daughters of Kristy and Kenneth Stephens. Allison and Brianna are both active members of the school community. Both are leaders on the Lady War Eagle Softball team. Additionally, Allison is a part of the girls’ cross country and weightlifting teams, while Brianna plays varsity soccer. Both sisters are also youth group members at River of Life. Academically, Allison aspires to become a pediatric nurse, while Brianna remains open-minded about her future plans. Their teachers, Mrs. Lawhon and Mr. Schmidt, have praised the twins for their contributions in the classroom. According to Ms. Patrick, who teaches both Allison and Brianna, “While some students may be more vocal in class, they are both valuable contributors to their group. They consistently deliver high-quality assignments and display a good work ethic. They are always respectful of others in the classroom as well.” Softball coach Hannah Strickland echoed these sentiments, stating, “They are two of the hardest workers in the room. They both lead by example.” Allison and Brianna’s dedication, academic excellence, and positive attitudes make them exemplary members of the War Eagle community.
