FRIDAY, OCT. 11

  • Deputy Buckhalt arrested Clayton Reams on a Violation of Probation (original charges of trespassing on structure and criminal mischief) at 7223 Coastal Highway. Upon arrest the Deputy located narcotics on Reams. He was transported to the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office Detention Facility.
  • Deputy Smith investigated a theft report where the reporting person had walked into the Sheriff’s Office to file the report. The complainant reported the theft of $124.40 on CASH APP by a known person.

SATURDAY, OCT. 12

  • Deputy Smith conducted a welfare check on a person possibly in need of assistance on Summerwind Circle. Deputies attempted to make contact with the individual but were unsuccessful, and determined the person may actually be in in Leon County.

SUNDAY, OCT. 13

  • Deputy Sullivan responded to the Sheriff’s Office parking lot to meet with a complainant reporting a vehicle burglary on Shar Mel Re Lane. Complainant reported noticing her car’s glove box was broken into and damaged. The amount of damage to the glove box was approximately $79.
  • Deputy Sullivan and Sergeant Will arrested a 15-year-old juvenile on Michael Drive for criminal mischief, after he intentionally caused multiple dents to a vehicle.

MONDAY, OCT. 14

  • Deputy Bennett spoke with a complainant who reported having a video showing a male she knows improperly displaying a firearm and firing the handgun from his vehicle. At the time it was unknown when the video was recorded. The complainant came into possession of the video by a third party. The report has been forwarded the report to the Criminal Investigations Division.
  • Kadin Dennis was arrested by Deputy Bennett after he returned to the Circle K 3180 Coastal Highway (Medart). Kadin had been issued a Trespass Warning earlier in the shift.
    Deputy Godwin responded to a residence on Edgewood Drive Crawfordville in reference to a burglary. Complainant reported items were missing from her shed. Total value of missing items was 175.00.
  • Deputy Godwin met with a complainant who had come to the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office to report a fraud. The complainant reported being scammed out of a house on Concord Road she had an interest in. Report was forwarded to the Criminal Investigations Division.
  • Deputy Haddock arrested Brandon Timmons on Patricia Lane for an arrest warrant out of Leon County for Sexual Battery.

TUESDAY, OCT. 15

  • Deputy Godwin responded to Hampton Way where he took two Criminal Mischief to vehicle reports, one for a Chevy Malibu, and another for a Nissan Sentra which both had tires slashed on their vehicles. Replacement tires cost was estimated at approximately $400. Both cases were referred to the Criminal Investigations Divisions.
  • Deputy Rivers attempted to locate Brennon Alvey on an active local warrant for Failure to Appear on original charges of trafficking in controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, and trespass on property after warning at on North Station Lane. Alvey was located and transported to the Wakulla County Detention Facility.
  • Lt. Paul and Deputy Surrette conducted a traffic stop for no tag attached on a vehicle on Zion Hill Road. During the stop, Gregory Houston was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. Gregory Houston was transported to the Wakulla County Detention Facility.
  • Deputy De Guzman arrested Joshua Coleman on Joe Mack Smith Street near the intersection of Coastal Highway for driving on a suspended license. Coleman was transported to the Wakulla County Detention Facility.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 16

  • Deputy Irvin responded to a residence on Revell Road in reference to a fraud complaint. Complainant advised his wife has yet to receive her monthly Social Security check. Complainant reported his wife has received multiple requests from an individual requesting she send him multiple checks, totaling $11,100. Complainant believes his wife has been the victim of a scam.
  • Deputy Smith responded to Ace Hardware in reference to a theft complaint. Contact was made with Leanne Cobb who advised a former employee voided several cash transactions in the month of September and pocketed the cash amounts from the cash registers. The stolen amounts totaled over $3,000. The investigation has been forwarded to the Criminal Investigations Division.

THURSDAY, OCT. 17

  • Lt. Alexander conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for failure to yield. The driver, Charles Schneider, did not possess a valid driver license – never one issued. Schneider was placed under arrest and transported to the Wakulla County Detention Facility.
  • Deputy Sullivan conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for the registered owner not having a valid license in the area of 2167 Crawfordville Highway. Inside the vehicle was Elisa Scott and Angel Palmer who both had active warrants. Scott was wanted out of our agency for larceny petty theft, and Palmer was also wanted out of our agency for delivering methamphetamine within 1000 feet of specified area. The driver, Kelly Gordon, did not have a valid license. All three were placed under arrest and transported to the Wakulla County Detention Facility.
