STUDIO 88 DANCERS TRAVEL TO NEW YORK

Holiday dreams came true for young local dancers from Studio 88 Dance Productions of Crawfordville. Dancers Kaleigh Largent, Kailea Schneider and Katelynn Babcock had the opportunity to visit New York City last month during the most festive time of year.
In participation with Dance The World Broadway Holiday Season Edition by WorldStrides, the dancers flew to New York City where they, along with their families and dance instructors, had a magical adventure.

Their four-day trip to the Big Apple was packed with non-stop activities and once-in-a-lifetime experiences. They enjoyed a Broadway show, performed an original Studio 88 choreographed dance on the stage of the New Amsterdam Theater, one of the longest running theaters on Broadway, and were treated to a special behind-the-scenes tour of the theater. They participated in a dance workshop with the Radio City Rockettes, took the backstage tour of Radio City Music Hall and saw the Radio City Music Hall’s Christmas Spectacular starring the Radio City Rockettes.
And dressed in flashy red costumes and glittering Santa booties, they danced their hearts out performing in Times Square.
