BICYCLIST HIT BY TPD OFFICER IN CRAWFORDILLE
Staff ReportA bicyclist was struck by a Tallahassee Police officer’s vehicle in Crawfordville on Friday, Aug. 18, around 9:20 a.m. on Crawfordville Highway, near Walgreens.
The bicyclist was LifeFlighted in critical condition to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The police officer suffered no injuries, according to FHP. The officer was also reportedly not at fault for the accident.
FHP does not release names of people involved in accidents it investigates citing its interpretation of Marsy’s Law, the constitutional amendment intended to protect crime victims.
