Airport was run into the ground

Editor, The Sun:

I am responding to your airport related Letters to Editor of Thursday January 11, 2024. I was going to come in here like gangbusters and throw darts at everybody but decided this photograph would do. The photo was extracted from video of my filming Mr. Fults shortly after he filed a complaint about me flying my drone. Any questions, Mr. Recker?
For some reason, this flood of airport supporters here and elsewhere was never seen at the airport in my past almost 40 years of utilizing the county airport. Before it became the train wreck that it is now under Mr. Fults’ unable leadership, it was a great place with hang glider towing, skydiving, drone flying, sport aviation and just the comraderie of friends and visitors to our hangar.
I am not a detractor of the military or the airport. Me and another pilot named Paul Turner were the only ones using it on a regular basis for years. I am, however, a vocal critic of how it has been run into the ground since 2012. As far as military, my brother was a retired U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel. Our dad, a Marine veteran and survivor of vicious fighting in the Marshall and Mariana Islands in World War II. Vietnam awaited me at 19 years of age.
I’d like to thank Mr. Robert Franco for his mention of the entire inventory of Osprey aircraft being grounded recently due to multiple crashes. That’s what I tried to pound into our official’s minds about the danger of that aircraft operating at our county public airport. The airport donor stipulation of a 6,000-pound maximum aircraft weight for which manager Fults fully ignores.
If anyone wants to see fireworks, attend the civil trial of Mr. Randall Dick vs Mr. Steve Fults. Pack the courtroom. You’re going to find facts and evidence you never thought existed. The WCSO investigation of Steve Fults’ strangulation of Mr. Dick was a complete farce. From former ASA Brian Miller on down the incompetent chain, their claim of no witnesses and no evidence will be fully explored and exposed.
