Jonah exemplifies a rare blend of confidence and strong leadership qualities. He’s the type of student who doesn’t just climb mountains; he extends a helping hand to bring others along on the journey. Rather than seeking the spotlight, Jonah leads by example, encouraging his peers through his actions. His favorite teachers are Señor Juan Barcelo-Gonzalez for Spanish and AP Art History and Mr. Dennis Whaley for Algebra 2. Señor Barcelo-Gonzalez says of Jonah, “Jonah’s bright and enthusiastic demeanor enlivens every classroom he enters.” Jonah’s quiet strength and ability to uplift others make him not just a standout student, but a true asset to WHS. Congratulations to Jonah Hicks for representing Wakulla High.
