On his weekly survey of Wakulla Springs, retired park ranger Bob Thompson shared this photo of a Black Vulture. Of the 35 animals monitored on these surveys, the total number of animals observed on Feb. 8 was 288. The three most abundant were 136 Hooded Mergansers, 38 Common Gallinules and 32 White Ibis. A total of 3 manatees were observed.
