We have had another week of cold weather. Someone said to me that it’s been cold like this many times. I just can’t remember when.
Last week I went out on my front porch and my flowers weren’t standing up, but laying over.
It’s been colder than I can remember right now.
On one of the coldest days, Jan. 31, at Skipper Temple Church of Christ was a spiritual-filled service with the woman presider, Pastor Tawanna Morris from Tallahassee.
Speakers for the conference included Evangelist Gwen Williams, Evangelist Philise Holloman, and Pastor Patricia Harrison. The women had a parade of hats and modeled hats for all occasions.
Spirit and Truth Women’s Prayer Breakfast was held on Saturday, Feb. 7, with Minister Tala Hagan, Evangelist Barbara Johnson, Pastor Mary Kelly, Elder Pamela Cotton, Mother Jewel White, and words of wisdom from Dr. Elder Ethel Skipper, pastor of Skipper Temple Church of Christ Written in Heaven. Following the service was a breakfast. Everyone was appreciated and thank you for prayers.
New Hope Pentecostal Holiness Church of Christ W.I.H. will have a program on Saturday, Feb. 14 to celebrate the love of God, and memories of Elder Leila Reed and her love for the people of the Lord.
