Change of watch and attention to awards!

On Jan. 10, Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 08-01-02 held a change of command ceremony at the Lake Jackson Library Branch on Fred George Road in Tallahassee.
Auxiliarist Phil Hill was sworn in as Flotilla Commander replacing the outgoing Commander, Norma Hill.
Auxiliarist Raye Crews was sworn in as the Vice Flotilla Commander replacing Mike Casey.
We thank both Norma and Mike for their outstanding service and thank Phil and Raye for their commitment. The Flotilla also swore in its oncoming Flotilla Staff Officers (FSOs) for the year.
On Feb. 14, the flotilla also held their monthly meeting at B.L. Perry Library on Orange Avenue in Tallahassee where Auxiliarist Mary Grant was awarded the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Sustained Service award for devoting over 750 hours to the missions of the United States Coast Guard and United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. This award represents Auxiliarist Grantโs dedication and commitment to our missions.
