“Just Imagine” Awards Dinner to Celebrate Wakulla’s Environmental Champions – June 27
Keep Wakulla County Beautiful invites the community to an inspiring and entertaining evening at the Just Imagine Awards Dinner on Thursday, June 27, celebrating those who are making Wakulla County cleaner, greener, and more sustainable.
This year’s dinner, themed “Just Imagine… A Cleaner, Greener Future Starts with You”, will recognize individuals, youth, businesses, and organizations that are making a difference through waste reduction, beautification, and environmental stewardship.
The event will feature a delicious dinner catered by Old South Café, offering a thoughtfully prepared menu with local flair. Guests will also enjoy a silent auction full of fantastic items, door prizes, and a special drawing for a Reencle Gravity Composter — a great way to take your waste reduction efforts to the next level!
The evening will also include two exciting and informative guest speakers:

  • Cal Jamison, who will share the incredible story of the removal of a car from a Wakulla sinkhole, and
  • Kellie Keys, speaking on the FSU Springs Protection Project, shedding light on local efforts to preserve our water resources.
Attendees will also have the chance to see firsthand how everyday items can be repurposed—proving that creativity can reduce waste and beautify our surroundings.
Nominations are now open and will be accepted until June 13. KWCB encourages residents to nominate local environmental heroes — from youth and civic leaders to businesses and organizations — who are going the extra mile for a greener community.
Tickets for the Just Imagine Awards Dinner are now available and include a full dinner, access to all presentations and drawings, and a seat at one of Wakulla’s most inspiring events of the year.
For nominations, ticket sales, or more information, visit kwcb.org, or email keepwakullabeautiful@gmail.com.
