The Wakulla War Eagles went down in a tough defeat to the Chiles Timberwolves on Friday night, 23-21, falling to 1-2 on the season.
It was a mistake-prone game with penalties that severely affected the War Eagles: penalties for holding negated three Wakulla touchdowns.
Without those calls, Wakulla would have won easily.

20 years for human trafficking

Man is charged with sex trafficking a juvenile at a Wakulla motel

A 22-year-old Crawfordville man was sentenced to 20 years in state prison last week for human trafficking a young girl for sex.
The man, Sky Skidmore, entered a plea of guilty to the negotiated sentence on Tuesday, Aug. 26 before Wakulla Circuit Judge Layne Smith.
