The Florida Farm Bureau held its annual dinner for members on Tuesday, Oct. 21 at the Wakulla Community Center. The meal was from Sonny’s Barbecue and topped off with cake and Bluebell ice cream.

The Wakulla County Historical Society held its Annual Meeting and Dinner on Thursday, Oct. 2, at the Wakulla Shrine Club. Nearly 70 people were in attendance.
The historical society was founded in October of 1991 and current President Andrea Carter explained the group preserves Wakulla history through the museum and maintains the gift shop, as well as documenting the history of Wakulla families. Carter also noted the most recent project: the creation of Heritage Park on Zion Hill Road in Crawfordville.
