CRUM’S SUPPORTS YOUNG FISHERS

Young fishermen frequent the store year round to purchase their fishing items.

Yes, there are elves and Santa is real!

Ann Cooper has worked with Crum’s Mini Mall for 40 years and she and Sam Ash, owner of Crum’s, are rewarding some young fishermen from the Panacea area with gifts for Christmas for being avid fishermen and dedicated customers of the store.

The young fishermen frequent the store year round to purchase their fishing items before heading to the water to cast their lines or nets. Ann says that they are such polite kids and that the staff like seeing that these young men are spending their time and energy wisely and enjoying the great outdoors instead of other directions that many young people are going today. They hope that this reward will help to keep them in a positive direction for their futures.

Ann says she couldn’t have done it without Sam’s generosity and dedication to the Panacea area.

The four local boys will receive Bait Caster Rods and Reels, a big stocking full of lures and a tackle box. They will also each receive a new bike given by an anonymous donor.
Crum’s, Seatow and Gulf Specimen Marine Lab partnered to donate gifts to 14 other kids in the Panacea area as well.
