4-H CRAFT CLUB GIVES TO SHELTER
Special to The Sun
The 4-H Crafty Creators Club.
The 4-H Crafty Creators Club visted the animal shelter earlier in the month to donate toys and comfort items for the animals.
The club is made up of youth ages 5 to 18 who meet monthly to sew and make craft projects. Their past projects have included gifts for the residents of Eden Springs and masks for first responders. This year they decided to make comfort items for shelter pets.
The youth collected community donations of old shirts and other recycled items and upcycled the items to make toys and other gifts for animals housed at the shelter.
