Planning commission give OK to gas station under conditional use rules

The planning commission voted last week to approve a conditional use for a Wawa convenience store and gas station to be located on Crawfordville Highway on a parcel between the old and new Whiddon Lake Road.

A 49-year-old Monticello man riding a motorcyle on U.S. 98 was killed in a crash on Saturday, April 13, around 6 p.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Ryan Ladwig is a Troop 5 Boy Scout who identified a need in his Wakulla County community and by demonstrating leadership skills and upholding the Boy Scout Promise of Duty to Other People, Ryan worked with his team to build pathways that lead to the two pavilions and connect to the sidewalk and parking lot of Shell Point Beach.
Wakulla 4-H Shotgun Club member Emiliano Cadena participated in the 16th Annual Bustin’ Clays event with Sheriff Grady Judd fundraiser on Saturday, April 6, at Tenoroc Sporting Clays in Lakeland.
