20-year-old daughter of Fred and Angie Nichols issued citation for drinking at Low Country Boil

The 20-year-old daughter of Fred and Angie Nichols was issued a citation for misdemeanor charge of possession of alcohol by a person under 21 after she was seen with liquor at a local fundraiser.
Joseph Williams, a 104-year-old World War II veteran, was at Palaver Tree Theater on Saturday talking about his experiences with Robert Manning. Williams is a veteran of the U.S. Navy. St. Marks City Attorney Bill Garner informed the St. Marks City Commissioners at their meeting last week that due to Paul Sheddan’s recent resignation from the commission, they would need to appoint someone to serve in his stead within 10 days.

A three-day art event was held at Wakulla Springs Lodge wrapping visitors in the beauty and inspiration of the natural surroundings. Live painting, a craft show and auction was enjoyed with proceeds benefitting the Friends of Wakulla Springs State Park.
