Be A Hero to Our Heroes held it annual backpack giveaways throughout the county – with events in St. Marks, Panacea and Sopchoppy – culminating with last Saturday’s big giveaway in Crawfordville at the Wakulla Community Center. In addition to backpacks full of school supplies, there were all kinds of free things – including clothes and haircuts, even sports physicals.
