  • Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours will be hosted by Kast Net in Wakulla Station from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
  • Coastal Optimist Club meets at noon at Myra Jean’s on the first and third Thursdays.
  • Rotary Club of Wakulla meets at TSC Wakulla at 8:30 a.m.
  • The VFW Auxiliary Bingo Night will be held at 7 p.m. at 475 Arran Road in Crawfordville, every Thursday. There are concessions and raffles.

Saturday, April 19

  • Spring Towards Peace, an anti-violence project of the Wakulla High School Interact Club, kicks off with an 8 a.m. race at Azalea Park. After the race, at 10 a.m., the event moves to Hudson Park with a $3 admission for music, food trucks, and stage performances from Tiger Rock, WHS Jazz Band, 7th Way band, and dance teams. Event concludes at 2 p.m.

Monday, April 21

  • County commission meets at 5 p.m. in the commission boardroom.
  • School board meets at the district office at 5:45 p.m.
  • A non-partisan Town Hall will be held at the community center beginning at 6:30 p.m. Former Congressman Allen Boyd will attend.
  • The Wakulla Respite Program will be available for anyone with memory impairment at no cost from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lake Ellen Baptist Church every Monday.

  • City of St. Marks will hold a public meeting on community development block grants at the fire station at 6 p.m.
  • County Commissioner Fred Nichols will hold a Town Hall at the community center beginning at 6:30 p.m.
  • Sopchoppy community dinner is held every week at the Towles House at 6:30 p.m.
