It was after Easter, the resurrection of Jesus Christ, was the foundation of Christian faith practice.
The Bible clearly teaches there is life after death. Resurrection and eternal life are found in the Bible.
God defined himself as the God of deceased patriarchs. Jesus said he is the God of the living.
There is the afterlife; we are deciding now what our afterlife will be like. By using our time, money or skills to bless others, we are laying up treasure in heaven, where they cannot be stolen or destroyed. We will all stand before God someday to give an account of ourselves, and we want him to say “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.” Believers in Christ will inherit his everlasting kingdom.
