Achievements/Reason for Nomination: Cody Carranza is an exceptional student whose dedication and hard work shine both in and out of the classroom. As a trumpet player in the Symphonic Band, Cody’s musical talent is matched by his leadership, earning him the Leadership Award for Band Students. He consistently challenges himself academically in Honors classes and has maintained A/B honor roll status throughout the year.
Cody’s academic accomplishments are equally impressive—he passed all state exams with scores of 4 or higher, including achieving double level 5s in two subjects, demonstrating his commitment to excellence. Cody is also an avid reader, reading over a million words this year. He was chosen for this recognition for his drive, leadership skills, kindness, and love of learning. The Wildcats are proud to have Cody as a student at WMS!
