Calendar of events for the week of March 26
Thursday, March 26
- Joy-Filled Easter, an event for special needs kids, will be held at Wakulla Springs Lodge from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- “The M Factor: Before the Pause,” a documentary on menopause, will be held at the public library at 6 p.m., sponsored by Raidant Image Health.
- The Rotary Club of Wakulla meets to put up banners at Azalea and Hudson parks at 8:30 a.m. The group will hold a social at Seineyard at Wildwood at 6 p.m.
- The VFW Auxiliary Bingo Night will be held at 7 p.m. at 475 Arran Road in Crawfordville, every Thursday. There are concessions and raffles.
- Alcoholics Anonymous meets at 6:30 p.m. every Thursday at 54 Ochlockonee St.
Friday, March 27
- Alcoholics Anonymous meets at noon and 8 p.m. every Friday at 54 Ochlockonee St.
Saturday, March 28 - The Wakulla County Animal Shelter will hold a Spring Fling to adopt pets at the shelter beginning at 9 a.m.
- Taiste-Ful Market Day, a fundraiser for Battle 14, will be held at Hudson Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be local vendors and food and Jazz and Blues music as you shop and eat.
Sunday, March 29
- Swamp Coast, featuring old time Folk, Country and Blues, will be held at Palaver Tree Theater, 59 Shadeville Road, beginning at 2:30 p.m. It’s a pay-what-you-can event.
- Wakulla Giving Hands holds a food giveaway every Sunday from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the facility across from Medart Elementary on Highway 98.
- Alcoholics Anonymous meets every Sunday at 6:30 p.m. at 54 Ochlockonee St.
Monday, March 30
- A meet and greet with Republican candidates will be held at Donkey’s Bar & Grill at 6 p.m.
- Alcoholics Anonymous meets at 6 p.m. for women and 8 p.m. for men every Monday at 54 Ochlockonee St.
- Gentle Yoga and Stetching Class with Margaret every Monday at 11 a.m. First Baptist Church CLC Building in Crawfordville. Bring a mat.
- Line Dancing Class is held at Wakulla Dance Academy every Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. $5 per person. Wear dance shoes or tennis shoes.
Tuesday, March 31
- Sopchoppy community dinner is held every week at the Towles House at 6:30 p.m.
- Alcoholics Anonymous meets every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at 54 Ochlockonee St.
Wednesday, April 1
- Caroline’s Agape Project will bring awareness of National Child Abuse Awareness Month by planting a pinwheel garden at Azalea Park beginning at 10 a.m. Sponsorships are available. Contact Patrick Allison at (410) 320-5509.
