FRIday, MARCH 13
- Walmart Asset Protection called in reference to a retail theft complaint. Contact was made with Asset Protection, who advised they observed a white female failing to scan multiple items at the self-checkout area. The suspect was observed placing multiple unscanned items inside her grocery bags via surveillance video. She was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to the Wakulla County Jail without incident.

MARCH 14
- Deputy Kory Smith responded to Walmart in reference to a retail theft. Contact was made with Asset Protection who advised an unknown male had entered the store. The male proceeded to shop around selecting various items and placing them in the shopping cart. While shopping, the subject grabbed a black in color container and began concealing the items inside. The male subject then left the store with the cart, passing all final points of sale. The male left the shopping cart and items by his vehicle and re-entered the store. The subject then selected a television, and placed it in another cart. He then left the store again, failing to pay for all merchandise. A possible suspect has been identified in this incident.
- Deputy Jonathan Kilbourn responded to the 1300 block of Shadeville Road in reference to a citizen wanting to retrieve his bus and pursue charges for vehicle theft. During the investigation, the property owner allowed deputies to enter the property for the person to retrieve his property. While on scene, the property owner advised she was unaware of the situation and claimed to have been given the bus by a subject. As the reporting person inspected the bus, he observed new damages to the interior, along with missing tools that were left inside the bus. It was discovered during the investigation that the bus was not registered to the reporting person, however, he advised he was working on the paperwork to transfer it to his name. At this time, this report was taken due to the reporting person showing deputies the title with his signature on a prior day.
SUNday, MARCH 15
- Deputy Dylan Buckhalt responded to Hardees in reference to a suspicious subject. Contact was made with a subject, who was located on the property after normal business hours and failed to identify himself or dispel deputiesโ concerns for him being on the property. Subsequently, he was placed under arrest and transported to the Wakulla County Jail without further incident.
During the above incident, the suspect was in possession of multiple identification cards that did not belong to him. Contact was made with two of the owners, who advised their property had been stolen recently. This case will be forwarded to CID for further investigation.
MONday, MARCH 16
- Deputy Dustin Saba conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for the tag not currently being assigned. Contact was made with the driver who was found to only have an ID card. He also admitted to knowing his license was suspended. Search incident to arrest, two Oxycodone pills were located on his person. He was found to have numerous Driving While License Suspended or Revoked (DWLSR) priors as well. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Wakulla County Jail without incident.
- A citizen reported her CashApp card had been stolen. Several purchases were made totaling $15. The card was given to two subjects for groceries. It was in one of their wallets which was lost while purchasing groceries.
TUESday, MARCH 17
- A citizen reported being scammed out of money. She stated someone used Walmart.com to obtain merchandise she did not approve. At this time the victim stated she is out approximately $2,000. Case forwarded to CID.
- Walmart Asset Protection reported a delayed theft. Four subjects entered the store on Sunday, March 15 and left with unpaid merchandise passing all points of sale without purchase. These suspects re-entered the store and took more items passing all points of sale without purchase for a second time. All merchandise taken was valued at $358.99. Case forwarded to CID.

MARCH 18
- Deputy Austin Rivers responded to the front lobby of the Wakulla County Sheriffโs Office in reference to a citizen reporting that a known subject has stolen a total of $7,234 over the course of a couple of years. She stated she has documents and receipts supporting the accusations. Case forwarded to CID.

MARCH 19
- Deputy Jonathan Kilbourn responded to Macks Meats in reference to a citizen wanting to report a vehicle burglary. While speaking with the reporting person, she advised when she got in her vehicle this morning she noticed her firearm missing. She stated on Wednesday, March 18, she travelled throughout the county running errands and doing various things for work. She advised she kept the firearm in her purse, which was also missing. A report was taken and the firearm was entered as stolen. Later in the day, she called back advising she located all her items. She advised dispatch the purse and firearm were in her residence. The firearm was removed from NCIC/FCIC.
- Deputy Kory Smith conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after receiving a notification that the registered owner did not possess a valid license and had an active Leon County warrant. During the stop, miscellaneous paraphernalia was observed in plain view and both the driver and passenger were asked to exit the vehicle. Both subjects were secured in separate patrol vehicles and a probable cause search was conducted. During the search, a crystal-like substance was located. The substance was field tested which produced a presumptive positive for methamphetamine and had a prepackaged weight of 0.8 grams. After receiving a hit confirmation, the driver was advised she was being placed under arrest. Due to the passenger having paraphernalia in his possesion which tested positive, he was advised he was being placed under arrest for possession of paraphernalia. The vehicle was then towed by rotation tow and both subjects were transported to the county jail without further incident.
FRIday, MARCH 10
- Deputy Jeremiah Post and Sgt. Heather Will responded to the area of Quick Stop on Bloxham Cutoff in reference to a road rage incident. The reporting person advised while near Quick Stop an unknown male was following too close behind her in a red truck on Lonnie Raker Road. She stated she attempted to make contact with the driver who then brandished a firearm. Review of the surveillance footage at Quick Stop did not show the interaction. She was unable to provide a tag or additional information for the vehicle.
- Deputy Shay Sullivan responded to the 100 block of New Light Church Road in reference a stolen firearm. The reporting person stated his firearm was stolen from his vehicle approximately six months ago. The firearm cost nearly $400. Case forwarded to CID.
