TALLAHASSEE – More than three years after Gov. Ron DeSantis and Republican lawmakers approved a plan to place restrictions on social-media platforms, a preliminary injunction continues to block major parts of the law.
But the court fight isn’t over.

In the fall and early winter of this year you may see an airplane flying low and slow over Wakulla County. Don’t worry, the airplane won’t be having problems. It will be taking aerial photos to be posted on the Wakulla County Property Appraiser’s website.

TALLAHASSEE – Gov. Ron DeSantis vetoed one of the more contentious measures of the 2024 legislative session this week, giving the thumbs-down to a bill that sought to regulate at the state level the ballooning number of vacation rentals in Florida.
