Wakulla High School theatre students visited the Wakulla Senior Center on Thursday, April 18 to share with them some pieces from their upcoming production of “Anything Goes.”
Senior Isabella Taff sang the opening number “I Get a Kick Out of You” as well as the hilarious duet “Friendship” with freshman Logan Hand.
Seniors Riley Carraway and Lynley Kendrick also impressed the crowd with not only their song “De-Lovely” but also with the ballroom dance routine that accompanied it.
Following their performance the four students as well as six others who accompanied them in costume and in character took time to visit with those in attendance, taking pictures, talking about the show and listening to stories of what the performances reminded them of.
The production takes place at Wakulla High School on May 3 and 4 at 6:30 p.m. and May 5 at 2:30 p.m. The show features approximately 50 students in the performances and behind the scenes.
The program is funded completely by ticket sales so please make plans to support these students and this program. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance via the troupe’s Facebook page.
