Sopchoppy Depot Days and car parade was awesome! I love the classic cars. The Big Wheel race was very entertaining also. I had a full weekend. Friday was Low Tide, Saturday was the festival and Sunday was a football pool party. A weekend full of good times. If you have not seen the new Welcome to Sopchoppy sign then you need to go take a look. This was art work by Rachell Mathis and the sign was built by Signs by Bri. It looks really cool. I see the train picture at the train depot got a new version. The old pic was very damaged from the sun. A sinkhole opened up just outside of Sopchoppy. It has been covered for now. I don’t know what they plan on doing but we will have to keep an eye on it. Update: looks like it’s all taken care of… Emergency helicopter landed In Sopchoppy on Tuesday. I’m glad we have the historic school field for them to land. Prayers to the family. I provided sound for the Rouse House event In Sopchoppy. It was absolutely beautiful. The food, the house, decorations and everything was amazing! If you are looking to book a wedding venue or family reunion.. this is it! They have rooms, dining area, pool, tent for outdoor food and entertainment. I loved it and the house was built in 1895. They saved more of our Sopchoppy history. I love it! I went bream fishing with Ole P a couple times lately. Ole P knows fishing. Our adventures are usually funny, wild and very entertaining. But one thang about it… that dude can fish! Now I have not had the pleasure of a visit in a while but moo as I call him would visit us regularly In Sopchoppy. My kids would run out and play with him. He loves for you to throw a stick. He loves the water and will go get the stick if you throw it in the water. Just the sweetest dog ever. He would visit us for a little while and then move on. I want to send my love to Mufasa and his family and a get well soon. I heard he was recovering and I’m glad to hear that. We love you, Mufasa. Please stop at the stop signs in Sop! Watch out for others and animals. Slow down. Also please don’t throw trash out. Sopchop is beautiful, let’s keep it that way. Live life and be happy. Enjoy the moments.
