Yella flies have been spotted in a few areas…. Nothing too crazy yet but they are on the scene.
We finally got some rain. Thank God! The Market Days in Sopchoppy got canceled due to the weather. We needed the rain bad though. Speaking of rain… I got me some low top Panacea nikes. They are like the old school crab boots but low top and a whole lot more style. I needed these for my fishing adventures.
Sopchoppy had a food drive Friday. Second Harvest and Sopchoppy Congregational Holiness Church puts this on. Follow the Sopchoppy page to get updates on the food drive and all kinds of Sopchoppy news and events.
I was the DJ for the Special Olympics and they recently sent me a thank you card. Some things in life are worth more than money. It is a blessing to be a part of this event and I appreciate my card.
I went fishing with an old friend (PeeWee) in Buckhorn Creek and we had a great time. I got a hilarious video on Facebook. The truck got stuck on the boat ramp, but we caught fish and had a great time… They say if the yella flies biting the fish are biting. Both were biting – haha. We gave most of the fish to a friend (K2) visiting from near Atlanta. He sent me a pic of the fried fish and it looked amazing.
We are blessed to be surrounded by water and woods. Special thanks to Dallas for letting us put in at his house and pulling us out of the boat ramp– haha. This adventure is available to watch on my social media.
I was riding the golf cart in Sopchoppy and ran out of gas… luckily for me my family lives up the road. I wasn’t stranded long. Guess I need to check the gas before I ride out… oops.
I think little things like that make the adventure remembered. You know, a little more exciting. Just like the boat ramp issue…
Sometimes in life what we think is a bad situation is really a blessing in disguise. The Bible says lean not on your own understanding.
So enjoy every minute, every memory and every moment. Laugh about it… I record moments so everyone can laugh at it…. I keep it real, life isn’t perfect but that is what makes it perfect!
Love and adventure from Sopchoppy, Florida!
