The Wakulla Moose Lodge in Panacea hosted its 8th Annual Mystery Dinner Theater & Show with a sold out house over three nights of shows – “Mooseland’s Got… Talent?” ran February 17th, 18th and 24th.
More than 75 guests enjoyed a roast beef dinner with garlic potatoes, salad and dessert at the Moose while watching the characters play out their roles and trying to figure out who was the murderer.
The cast of 15, all played by Moose members, walked around the seated guests and dropped little hints about their character that may – or not – help in choosing who the culprit may be. Or who’s going to get killed.
Herb Donaldson of Palaver Tree Theater directed the play and Moose member Kay Cannon was the Coordinator/Producer. The team started rehearsing back in October of last year with their lines, costumes and designing the set.
Production is possible due to the premier sponsor for the event, Prime Meridian Bank along with sponsorship by Ameris Bank.
Proceeds from the show benefits Palaver Tree Theater, Wakulla High Drama Class, and a variety of Moose Charities.
“There were many raves about the food and said people thought that this was the funniest show yet,” said Kay Cannon. “We look forward to bringing you a new show next year.”
