Wakulla reaches $47,500 pay for new teachers mandated by state

The Wakulla County School Board unanimously approved a new contract for teachers at their meeting on Monday, Oct. 21, which includes a starting salary for new teachers of $47,500.

In a story last week on the Wakulla County Historical Society’s annual banquet, the wrong name was given for the Anne Quick Stewart Volunteer of the Year Award winner: It was Bernita Mack.
