TALLAHASSEE – Florida candidates up and down the ballot made their final pitches this week in the runup to Tuesday’s general election.
As of Friday morning, 6.73 million voters — roughly 48 percent of the 13.95 million Floridians registered to vote — had already cast their ballots.

After 12 years, Taylor’s last meeting

Monday’s school board meeting was the last for Melisa Taylor, who has served on the board for 12 years, and served as a teachers for 24 years.
