Landen Mayfield – 3rd grader at COAST Charter School

Achievements/Reason for Nomination: COAST, Wakulla’s Charter School of the Arts, Sciences & Technology is proud to recognize 3rd grader Landen Mayfield as Student of the Week! Landen comes to school ready to learn everyday and always puts his best foot forward in all subjects, especially reading. He has started to bring in books from home so he can share his joy for reading, even though his favorite subject is math. He is not afraid to ask questions or to help his peers. He also is a talented artist and is always creating new pieces of art work for his teachers. Outside of school, Landen loves the outdoors. He loves playing soccer and hunting with his dad. We are very pleased with Landen’s progress this year and know he is bound to do great things.
